Attorney Christopher S. Beard was born in Enterprise and graduated from the University of West Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Education in 1999. Chris worked his way through law school while raising his family in Birmingham.

Through his many successful businesses and diverse work experience, he has gained an interest in and become extremely proficient in aggressively protecting assets, acquisitions, construction litigation, business, and estate planning.  Chris has a great deal of experience representing Auto-Owners, Progressive, State Farm, various other Insurance Companies, and has negotiated/closed many multi-million dollar transactions and acquisitions. Growing up, he was raised by self-employed parents that were prominent general contractors along the panhandle of Florida and this experience with the construction industry along with his own construction background makes him the best attorney for any construction dispute.  The knowledge he has gained over the years from representing clients combined with his own entrepreneurial success has given him a great deal of insight in which the clients of Fortune and Beard get the benefit.

In 2010, Chris Beard and William Fortune established their partnership with three basic goals in mind: to develop a strong dedication to both clients and cases; to effectively and professionally advocate for their clients and endeavor to better serve the Birmingham community.
